Actividad Investigadora:  
  • Advanced materials for building and architectural restoration with a major focus in mortars, renders, consolidants and coatings. We are also interested in practical properties like hydrophobicity and its relation to durability. Using chemical approaches the group is working in novel routes for synthesising high-purity nanolime suspensions for consolidation of heritage materials. External collaborations with national and international partners provide the group with additional resources and knowledge in organic chemistry, geology, microbiology and heritage conservation.
